Traditional Áo tứ thân
The áo tứ thân, or “four-part dress,” is one of Vietnam’s traditional garments. Originally, it was worn by women living in rural areas.
As a result, it was typically made from simple, plain fabrics in dark colors. Only for special occasions, such as festivals and weddings, were more luxurious fabrics and brighter colors used.
