Cambodia’s Royal Palace

Located on Samdech Sothearos Boulevard in Phnom Penh, along the banks of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap Rivers, the Royal Palace is the official residence of the King of Cambodia.

The palace and its beautifully landscaped gardens are among the finest examples of traditional Khmer architecture and are a must-see when visiting Phnom Penh.

Parts of the palace are still used by the King and are therefore closed to the public.

Highlights of a visit include:
The Throne Hall, where coronations and official ceremonies are held.
The Silver Pagoda, renowned for its priceless Buddha statues.
The beautiful palace gardens and the stunning examples of traditional Khmer architecture throughout the complex.
