Phutthamonthon Park

Phutthamonthon Park was established to commemorate 2,500 years of Buddhism and is an important Buddhist park featuring a 15.9-meter (52-foot) bronze Walking Buddha, meditation areas, tranquil ponds, and monuments depicting key events in the Buddha’s life.

The Temple of the Marble Pali Canon is a peaceful place where visitors can admire Buddhist scriptures engraved on marble slabs. Many visitors combine a trip to the park with a visit to nearby Phra Pathom Chedi in Nakhon Pathom, one of the tallest stupas in the world.

It was my local assistant, Miss Sasithron Ray, who brought this park to my attention.
