Her long-sleeved green blouse with a collar, blue jeans, and a small hat shielded her from the blazing sun.
Every day, she roamed the neighborhoods of Phnom Penh with a large bag slung over her shoulders, searching for discarded plastic and aluminum cans.

With a practiced eye, she spotted every piece of litter. Without gloves or any other protection, she reached into dumpsters to collect plastic and cans. Step by step, the bag on her shoulders grew heavier.
