Malabon City

Malabon is a city on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Together with sixteen other cities and municipalities, it forms the National Capital Region (NCR), better known as Metro Manila. According to the 2010 census, Malabon had a population of approximately 353,000 residents.

After a train ride of about six miles from Malabon to downtown Manila, we took a short walk past the impressive cathedral. Before long, my assistant Miss Aubrey, her sister, and I arrived at the entrance of the famous Rizal Park.

In this beautiful park, I began an intensive road photography session that lasted several hours. The photographs presented here are a small selection of the results.
